WHAT OTHER STUDENTS SAY?
Declan
DSLR Photography Course for Beginners
"I joined one of Bara's Photography courses and have been so impressed. I've been interested in photography for many years, but had been left behind by modern technology. I would highly recommend Bara's teaching style to any level of student, with classes and assignments, set to bring up your ability without being overwhelmed. Looking at the quality of the class' photos on the last session showed a huge improvement across the board."
Michelle
DSLR Photography Course for Beginners
"I first met Bara when I attended a free course on taking your own business photos which was offered by the Local Enterprise Office. I was so impressed by her professionalism and knowledge that I decided to have a look at her own website and I signed up that same day to do a 12-week course on how to use a DSLR camera. The entire experience was fun, educational, entertaining and altogether worth every penny. Bara created a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere where we could share our work, receive critiques and positive feedback as well as offer our own opinions to others in non-judgemental, entirely good-natured atmosphere. Each week was theme-based and each challenge was engaging. We were encouraged to see ordinary things through the eye of a photographer, using lighting and framing to capture the mood and atmosphere. Even if we didn't always achieve our goals, these were golden opportunities to learn from our mistakes and from others'. Even after the course, she continues to facilitate opportunities for us to go outside into nature with our cameras. I thoroughly recommend Bara as a tutor. I initially signed up to be able to take my own photographs for my website and not risk copy-write infringement. I got so much more! I now have the skills to take beautiful candid photographs of my children, my garden, and my travels. I have discovered an artistic outlet I didn't know I had. I've even invested in upgrading my camera equipment. But regardless of whether you are using a mobile phone or a digital camera, you will develop a new skill and hobby and meet other photography enthusiasts too. Thank you Bara!"

DSLR Photography Course for Beginners
"When I received a Canon camera a few years ago I realised that the quick shot I used with a mobile phone just wasn't good enough with this complicated camera. I heard of Bara Alich through my local community centre and signed in to her beginners course for photography. Her friendly approach with clever presentations and tutorials made for a great class. The encouragement and learning in the weekly class optimised by a field trip made the whole experience fun and worthwhile. Thank you Bara. I would have no hesitation recommending Bara"

"I've been interested in photography for many years and when I saw the advertisement for one of Bara Alich's courses I decided to sign up. Bara's friendly approach and tutorials made for a great class. The assignments following each session were challenging at times but they enabled me to put into practice what we went through in the class. I feel my photography skills have improved greatly as a result of the course. I would highly recommend Bara to anyone looking to improve their photography skills."
